PC Technologies commenced business in January of 2002 recognizing the need for a local business that specialized in on-site computer repair, upgrades, support and troubleshooting. Eliminating the need for customers to dismantle their PC systems, drive to the repair shop and wait weeks, there was now a local computer repair company that could do the work on-site in the comfort of your home or small business. During this time, noiseless, liquid cooled custom computer systems were becoming more popular in the gaming and music recording industry. Realizing the importance of high performance video and sound hardware, we began building custom, high-end computer systems tailored to the specific desires of our clients, ensuring that gaming enthusiasts and audio professionals alike could achieve optimal performance.
Due to an increasing demand for wireless networking, PC Technologies decided to expand services and offer installation and encryption of wireless networks. Our goal was to provide secure and reliable internet access for homes and businesses, which became an essential service as technology advanced and more devices required connectivity.
Early in 2007, PC Technologies began servicing notebook and desktop computer systems nationwide and providing over-the-phone technical support, remote computer repair, as well as on-site computer tutoring. This expansion allowed us to reach a wider audience and ensure that even those who could not visit us in person received the help they needed promptly and efficiently.
In April 2008, we began offering website design and search engine optimization consultations, responding to the growing need for businesses to establish an online presence. We understood the challenges faced by small business owners in the digital age and aimed to provide them with the tools necessary to succeed.
In 2023, we began installing wireless alarm systems, wireless security cameras, internet of things devices, smart home automations, and 4K local NVR surveillance systems, marking a significant expansion in our range of offerings. This newer endeavor not only reflects our commitment to innovation and adapting to market trends but also highlights our dedication to enhancing the security and convenience of modern households and businesses.
