We have been asked many times – Should I upgrade my iPhone and/or my iPad to iOS 13? Our short answer is – NO.
As of today, iOS 13.1.3 is the latest update from Apple. It is plagued with issues, and has been since its initial release. We highly recommend waiting until the bugs are ironed out before installing. We know everyone is anxious and can’t wait to install the new software. Honestly, you really aren’t gaining anything exciting, except for an unstable operating system. Hopefully the iOS 13.1.3 problems and issues noted below are corrected during the release of iOS 13.2.
Some of the initial issues we have noticed (after a clean install via iTunes):
* Safari issues
*When browsing the web safari acts erratically.
*Sometimes you can’t scroll up or down, the search bar completely disappears or it just locks up for no reason.
* Mail issues
*Emails just randomly re-sort themselves by date.
*When using multiple email accounts, your signature will not work. You must have a signature on your default account for other account signatures to show.
*Always has connection issues and error messages using Gmail.
*Adding attachments typically causes mail app to crash.
*General issues
*Unstable. Crashes requiring reboot.
*Notifications sometimes do not work.
*Apple Watch intermittently not receiving text messages and notifications
*Ringtones and text tones revert back to default.
*The information bar at the top of your screen showing cellular, WiFi, date, time, etc. disappears or displays incorrect information.
*iMessage issues.
*When trying to place a call from your iPad via a hyperlink, the option to call using your iPhone no longer exists. Incoming calls work fine.
*Tasks that used to take a few clicks are now even more involved resulting in more clicks to do the same thing! That is just insane.
